Thanking you for stopping by and taking your valuable time out to view my site which features my FORMER 95 Corvette ZR-1. This car was a long dream and some what of struggle for me. I must tell you that dreams do come true, if it’s something that you really want, then stay focus and put your mind to it and make it happen. If you pursue it hard enough sooner or later you’ll eventually end up with it.

This was my 1995 Corvette ZR-1 in Bright Aqua Metallic with a Black interior. This car has a production number of #389 out of 448 ZR-1’s produced in 1995.

I felt very grateful and lucky to own one of these cars considering that the rarity of the 95 ZR-1’s. This car has been a 4-5 years search for me searching through out the U.S. coast to coast. I purchased this car from a private collector out of the East coast, from the New England area just right outside of Boston and had it transported well over 3000 miles back to the West coast to the San Francisco Bay Area. This ZR-1 is a 100% factory original stock low mileage car, which I use for some car shows and also as some people would say it sits in the garage as garage furniture.

ZR-1’s were produced from 1990-1995. There were a total of 6939 ever produced in the 6 years of the ZR-1’s. 1995 was the last year for the production of ZR-1’s.

In 1995, there were only a total of 909 Bright Aqua Metallic Corvettes produced; only 13 of them were produced as ZR-1's. Number #389 is the last of the 13 Bright Aqua ZR-1’s off the line that was built in 1995 and also making it the last Bright Aqua ZR-1 ever built.

Of the 13 1995 ZR-1’s, 6 of them were built with Black interior and the other 7 were with Gray interior. This car happens to be a late production car, built on Thursday April 6th, 1995. The very last ZR-1 produced off the production line is #448, which was built on 4/24/95.

All in all there were only a total number of 53 Bright Aqua ZR-1's ever produced during the running of the ZR-1’s from 1990-1995. Bright Aqua was only available from 1992 on up. Bright Aqua is the rarest color second to Dark Purple which is the rarest color with a total of only 25 ZR-1's ever produced in Dark Purple.

This car also came with the late model LT5 heads; produced by A.L. Dunn Inc. Dunn heads came on about 130 ZR-1's built in 1995 most likely the last 100 cars. There were some earlier 95's that ended up with the Dunn heads. The rest of the cars came with the earlier Birmal heads.

The ZR-1 option was priced at $31,258.00 additional over the standard base Corvette
This car also has the dual roof package option.
Making the total price of a 1995 ZR-1’s at $69,553.00.

The LT5 engine was a brand new designed from the ground up in England by Lotus Engineering for the ZR-1 and assembled by Mercury Marine engines out of Stillwater, Oklahoma. The LT5 is an all aluminum pent roof combustion chamber designed engine with 4-cams and 32-valves which produces 405 hp @ 5,800 rpm and 385 ft lbs @ 4,800 rpm with a redline of 7200 rpm. The LT5 engine is a factory production engine capable of pushing the ZR-1 Corvette to speeds well over 180+ mph.
